Dan Collins has seen his career go from strength to strength. From humble Hertfordshire suburbia origins he has risen to become an extremely reliable, hard-working, in-demand session bassist. After gigging in venues the width and breadth of the country, Dan decided to focus wholly on the London scene and delve deeper into his session career. With a musical career spanning 10 years across multiple genres, his unique tone, technique and plethora of experience has helped to define the sound of upcoming artists such as Kaia Vieira, Creature., Cameron and the Slumberknights and many more.

Whilst graduating university in 2021 from BIMM London, Dan has seen regular recording sessions with Grammy award-winning producer Pete Smith (Sting) as well as working with Femi Temowo (Amy Winehouse) both during and after his studies. His career so far has seen him record in illustrious studios such as Abbey Road Studios, Dean Street Studios and Eastcote Studios whilst additionally performing in venues such as Shepherd’s Bush Empire, 02 Academy Islington, and Under the Bridge.

Dan’s ambitions do not stop there however. As a member of Cameron and the Slumberknights, his contributions to the band’s releases, ‘Pour’ and ‘Midnight’, ‘Old Jacinto’ and ‘Lil’ Soldier’ have seen a combined stream count of over 250,000 in two years and will continue to rise throughout the next few months.
